Firefighters tackle flat fire in Walton
FIREFIGHTERS were called to an early morning flat blaze in Walton.
Two crews from Frinton rushed to extinguish the fire which had broken out in a first floor flat in The Parade.
They reached the smoke-logged building at about 2.40am and had extinguished the flames by 3am, using a thermal imaging camera to check the site was clear of hotspots.
