THE father of an inspirational teen who died fighting an aggressive stomach cancer will take on a triathlon in his memory.

Tom Bowdidge died in October 2013, but not before raising £170,000 for the Teenage Cancer Trust.

Dad Richard will complete the 20km cycling leg of the Hever Castle Triathlon, along with friends James Hastings and Erik Alsegard.

The team, called Tom’s Insurance Tigers, are raising money for the Tom Bowdidge Foundation.

The race takes place on September 27.
