GOOD teaching and above average pupil achievement has been praised at a primary school by inspectors.
Alresford Primary School, in Ford Lane, Alresford, has been rated good overall by Ofsted.
The school, which has 102 pupils, was rated as requiring improvement when it was last inspected in February 2013.
The report said: “The headteacher, staff, subject leaders and governors have worked effectively together to raise achievement and improve the quality of teaching.”
To get an outstanding rating, the school was told it needs to improve its communication with parents about developing their children’s learning.
