A TENDRING based hedgehog rescue is set to benefit from a nature reserve open day.
Bobbit's Hole Nature Reserve in Main Road, Dovercourt will hold its sixth charity stroll next month.
Every year the event supports a charity and this year Hedgehog Haven Essex, a Frinton based charity has been chosen.
Colin Farnell, chairman of the Harwich Society, which owns the nature reserve, said it was the second time the charity had been chosen.
"Hedgehog Haven Essex is a marvellous cause and fits in so well with our environmental efforts at Bobbitt’s Hole," he said.
The Bobbit's Stroll will be held on August 10.
