Water to be cut off until 8pm or 9pm, Anglia Water says

Between 60 to 70 Halstead properties have been without water since noon, and could still be cut off at 9pm, Anglia Water has confirmed.

A burst water main at the junction of Sudbury Road and Colne Road today meant water had to be cut off and engineers have been on the scene.

Houses, and possibly restaurants and businesses have been affected by the problem, which could be due to traffic movement.
