THEFT: A battery was stolen from a van in Halstead
THIEVES smashed the window of a van before stealing its battery.
The van was parked in Factory Lane West, Halstead, when it was targeted between 11.25am and 11.35am on September 2.
The thieves smashed the win before prying the front bonnet open and taking the battery.
Any witnesses should contact Essex Police on 101.
