AN air ambulance was needed in Halstead to treat a man suffering a serious heart condition.
An ambulance crew, two rapid response units and an East Anglian Air Ambulance were dispatched to Tidings Hill, Halstead, just before 5pm on Saturday.
A man, who was conscious and breathing, but suffering a suspected serious heart condition was treated at the scene before being airlifted to Broomfioeld Hospital.
An East of England Ambulance Service spokesman said: "We were transferred a 111 call at 4.45pm on 22nd July to Tidings Hill in Halstead.
"An ambulance crew, two rapid response vehicles and the East Anglian Air Ambulance were dispatched.
"They treated a man, who was conscious and breathing, who was suffering from a suspected serious heart condition.
"He was taken by land ambulance to Broomfield Hospital for further care."
