FRIENDS at Colne Engaine School are hosting their annual summer party tomorrow.
The group were set up in light of funding restrictions which have hit a number of organisations, including schools.
The party is open to the whole village, and the comittee are hoping there will be a strong showing to support the school.
We have managed to compile a list of 47 promises that we plan to Auction of to the highest bidders.
The group thanked the community’s generosity, with donations from Blackwell’s Farm Shop, Todd’s Botanic's, Colne Valley graphics, The Five Bells and many more.
Star prizes are a family camping ticket to Jimmy Farms Festival weekend, Beach Hut hire with fish and chips an afternoon tea at London’s Browns Hotel and this is only the top of the list.
Head teacher Mrs Sarti has even donated the promise of doing a basket of ironing.
All are welcome to a fun filled family event with a disco, food and a licensed bar.
The party starts at 6.30pm – 11pm Saturday 8th July.
Tickets are £5 per adult and children go free.
Tickets are available from the Colne Engaine Village shop
