CHILDREN followed the trail of a Gruffalo during a half-term special event.
More than 20 children and their parents attended Halstead Library to dig deep into the magical world of The Gruffalo.
Monday’s event saw the children sit down for a group reading of the hugely popular children’s book, published in 1999 and since turned into a BBC cartoon.
Arts and crafts were available as the youngsters coloured in their paper cut-outs of the Gruffalo.
A Gruffalo trail was also put on, as children followed clues around N the library
