FEBRUARY is set to be a busy month at Hedingham Castle.

The hugely popular Snowdrop Sunday will return throughout the month, followed by a wedding open day showcasing the hugely impressive venue.

Snowdrop Sunday will run through the first three Sundays of the month, highlighting the beauty of the Castle’s winter gardens.

The romantic gardens have at least 13 varieties of snowdrops covering the steep slopes of the motte and bailey, setting off the trees and lakes in front of the Georgian Mansion House.

The castle’s surroundings are impressive throughout the year, but February sees them portrayed as a unique sight which will be enjoyed by any spectator.

The Cafe in the Keep will be open for the sale of mulled wine and other refreshments.

The last Sunday of the month will see the castle grounds host a wedding open day.

The event provides the perfect opportunity to look around the venue.

Specialist wedding coordinators will be on hand to answer any questions.

Snowdrop Sundays will run from 11am to 4pm on February 5, 12 and 19.

Entry will cost adults £8.50, over 65s £7.50, under 18s £6 or a family ticket for £25. Under 5s go free.

The Wedding Open Day is free entry, and will run from 11am to 4pm on February 26.
