FOUR men have been released without charge following their arrests in connection with a string of robberies.
The four were arrested in connection with five robberies since November.
The robberies took place at Bet Central in Challis Lane, Braintree on November 11, Coral Racing in Newland Street, Witham on December 12, a Co-op in Church Street, Bocking on December 16, the Post Office in Bedalls Avenue, Black Notley on January 4, 2017 and the Post Office in High Street, Great Yeldam on January 5, 2017.
Two men, aged 18 and 20, were arrested on January 6, while an 18 year-old man and a 17 year-old boy were arrested on January 7.
They were all taken to Chelmsford Police Station for questioning but were released without charge.
