TWO men arrested in connection with the murder of Chris May have been released from bail without charge.
Chris went missing from his home in Kelvedon in May last year and police are treating the case as a "murder without a body".
A 35-year-old man from Braintree was arrested on suspicion of Chris’ murder and a 25-year-old man from Kelvedon was arrested on suspicion of perverting the course of justice.
Both have been released from bail due to there being insufficient evidence to proceed any further.
Detectives still firmly believe 28-year-old Chris was murdered in May 2015 and are continuing to work to trace the person or people responsible for his death.
Anyone with information is asked to contact the major investigation team on 101 or email scdappeals@essex.pnn.police.uk
