Reports have come in that Finchingfield Road at the bottom of the church is flooded but still passable.
The fire service has warned drivers to take care and not get themselves and their families trapped by driving into flood water.
Just two feet of water is enough to float a car and six inches of water will reach the bottom of most passenger cars
The Service is still receiving a deluge of calls to flooding incidents following the heavy rain last night and crews and officers will only attend flooding incidents where there is a risk to life and will not ordinarily attend incidents only affecting property.
