Burglars steal jewellery after smashing through back door of house
BURGLARS have stolen jewellery after smashing through the back door of a house in Ridgewell.
They went through the back garden to smash a hole in the door near the security lock.
They were able to turn the key that had been left inside the door and searched the main bedroom of the house.
They took jewellery and then locked the door on their way out, using the side gate to escape from the garden.
It happened in Orchard Close, sometime between 10am and 3.30pm on May 16.
