An animal rescue centre is looking for new volunteers and a paid staff member.
Willow Tree Animal Sanctuary, in Gainsford End, near Toppesfield, currently has five ponies and 15 dogs to look after.
The sanctuary’s founder, Pamela Townsend, died in May 2014 and was taken on by her cousin Christine Drain and June Yarwood.
They are looking for someone over the age of 18 to work at the sanctuary three or four days per week.
Experience of looking after dogs and horses is preferable, but there is the opportunity to learn.
Every day will be different.
The person must be reliable.
Anyone interested in applying or who wants further information should call the sanctuary on 01787 237828 - leave a message if there is no answer - or email willowtreesanctuary@gmail.com.
Donations to help the running of the sanctuary would also be appreciated and cheques should be sent to Willow Tree Animal Sanctuary, Gainsford End, Toppesfield, Halstead, Essex, CO9 4EL.
Volunteers are also being sought to help with the running of the sanctuary.
