ESSEX Police has shown support for a national sexual abuse campaign.
The first week of February marks National Sexual Abuse and Sexual Violence Awareness Week.
This year the campaign is headed by the theme ‘It’s Not OK’.
Jamie Gingell from the Public Protection Command of Essex Police said: “We encourage victims of such behaviour and offences to come forward and engage with us.
“We fully support the awareness week and work hard to engage, support and protect those who have been subject to such abuse.
“By supporting and working with our various partners we can ensure that the right services are made available to victims to deal with the impact of what has happened to them.”
