Fires station open day on Sunday
Halstead fire station is holding an open day on August 30.
The station, in Parsonage Street, will be open between 10am and 4pm.
There will be live fire demonstrations, road traffic collision demonstrations, firefighting drills, fire and road safety advice, the chance to see and get in the fire engines, information on recruitment, art and craft stalls, bouncy castle, a barbecue and ice cream.
