More details of the plans to turn a Halstead industrial park into a residential area have been released.
The Gazette revealed in May there were plans to turn Central Park, on Colchester Road, into houses after the site was put forward for Braintree Council’s Call for Sites.
Firm Central Piling, which is currently operating from the site, is looking to move to the Bluebridge Industrial Estate which is opposite its current location soon.
It is currently waiting to hear the decision of a planning application to build new offices on the estate.
Documents from Bellway Homes and agents Strutt and Parker have revealed there are proposals for 104 residential units will be built on the land.
