Braintree's new MP has announced his plans to hold constituency surgeries.
James Cleverly held his first surgery- where members of the public can meet their MP to discuss their problems- at the Royal British Legion club in Halstead on Friday.
Prior to the start of the appointments, Mr Cleverly met with his hosts, Paul Partridge, Roy Weavers and Jeff Clark.
Mr Cleverly said: “It was a real privilege to meet with my constituents at my first mobile advice surgery and listen to their ideas and concerns."
Mr Cleverly said he will be holding several other mobile surgeries across the constituency in the coming months.
