A fire crew from Halstead helped to put out a blaze in Stoke-by-Nayland in Suffolk.
The water bowser was sent out at about 10pm on Saturday, March 28, to a thatched roof cottage on fire in the village.
Three crews from Colchester and one from Manningtree also attended.
The fire was put out just after midnight.
