Owners of a Halstead nightspot are offering a £1,000 reward for catching burglars who raided their office.
Burglars ransacked the back room at Scenarios in Trinity Street, Halstead, last Tuesday and stole more than £3,000 while a darts practice continued in the bar.
Police have so far made no arrests.
Dean Russell, manager, said: “We are putting up the £1,000 reward for any information that leads to a conviction.
“Halstead is a small town - everyone talks.
“Someone must know something. It was a well thought-out crime.
“I’m quite confident police will catch the person but every little helps.”
Mr Russell and pub owner, John Craig, have issued posters around the town appealing for help.
The pub had around 30 people at the darts practice when the upstairs room was broken into.
The thieves broke the office door, ripped apart the CCTV camera inside and stole the cash after rifling through filing cabinets.
Anyone with information should call police on 101 and email Mr Russell info@royalshieldservice.co.uk.
