Police are hunting three men who left a trail of destruction in Halstead.
On Friday night into Saturday (January 30-31), the trio wreaked havoc in the town centre.
At around midnight the trio had caused damage to a black Honda motorbike parked outside a restaurant in the High Street.
The men, aged in their late teens or early 20s, also cracked the window of the restaurant before running off and pushing a 65-year-old man to the ground from behind.
He suffered a broken collar bone and ribs and needed hospital treatment.
The three suspects have then smashed a window of the White Hart before getting into a black Seat Leon and driving off.
The suspects are believed to have been drinking in the Royal Oak earlier in the evening.
Anyone with information about the men or who saw what happened is asked to call DS Mark Cadd at Braintree Police Station on 101 or ring Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
