Ambulance staff are set to strike in the New Year.
Members of the GMB Union are considering taking strike action for 48 hours, from noon on January 29, in a row over pay.
Hospital strike action is also possible for 12 hours, from 9am until 9pm, on January 29.
Health unions are angry the Government refused to accept a one per cent rise for all staff.
Rehana Azam, GMB NHS National Officer, said "The New Year will bring a regrettable escalation of the strike action in the NHS in this pay dispute.
“GMB has been left with no alternative.”
