Colourful flowers and prize winning vegetables were on display at the Halstead Horticultural Society’s early show.
There were more than 110 exhibits packed into Queens Hall, Chipping Hill, including displays of dazzling Dahlias, superb Spray Chrysanthemums and Gladioli as well as cut flower arrangements and pot plants.
There were also a variety of extraordinary prize winning vegetables, including three foot long carrots.
Home made pastries, cakes, biscuits and jams and examples of knitting and needlecraft were also on display.
