A talented horse rider has qualified for her second class at the Horse of the Year Show.

Nine-year-old Amelia Lee, of Bures, has already qualified for one class after winning the ridden class at the New Forest Show on July 31.

She has now qualified for a second class after winning her class at the Monmouthshire Show on August 28.

Her mum, Hayley Lee, said: “Amelia really wanted to have a go at the open Section A class - a breed-specific class for Welsh ponies - which is against older children and even adults riding stallions."
