Pupils have been getting stuck into the National Gallery’s Take One Picture project, in which one painting from the museum’s collection is used to inspire cross-curriculam work in primary schools.

Headteacher Bridgette Gough said pupils worked on music, dance, drama, creative writing, textiles, photography and art and had their own art gallery.
