Brownies in Halstead have celebrated an extra special birthday party.
They joined 1,200 girls from across the county to mark the 100th birthday of the Brownie movement.
The youngsters enjoyed a BENE Bop concert at Colchester’s Charter Hall, which was hosted by Steve Williams and Sarah Louise, and featured Johnny Mack as Olly Murs and groups the JLS Adventure and Only One Direction.
There were also the BENE Bop Starmakers, a group of girls chosen from across the county who performed their own Brownie song and dance to commemorate the Big Brownie Birthday.
