The long arm of the law paid a visit to a primary school assembly- to present trophies, medals and certificates to the pupils and staff.

Chief Constable of Essex Police Stephen Kavanagh dropped in at St Margaret's Preparatory School, Gosfield, following its recent Forensic Science Day.

The day saw a ‘crime’ take place at the school, with children using their knowledge of investigative techniques to find the culprit.

The event was organised by St. Margaret’s director of studies, Carolyn Moss, who was presented with a certificate of merit in recognition of her dedication to motivating and capturing young minds.
