AN eight-year old girl has donated her waist length hair to a seriously ill children’s wig-making charity.

Isabel White, 8, cut her long locks into a chin length bob on Wednesday to donate 15 inches of her hair to the the Little Princess Trust, which specialises in making real-hair wigs and hair pieces for children who have lost their hair to cancer or other illnesses.

Isabel’s mum, Daisy White, said: “Isabel is a typical little girl who loves her hair and she’s been growing it for a long time but she hated having it brushed in the morning so we suggested she cut and donate it.

“She’s a kind girl, who always wants to help people so when she found out what the charity would do with her hair she wanted to have it cut even more, especially when she realised that Jessie Jay recently cut and gave her hair to the charity as well.”

Isabel collected sponsorship for the hair cut from friends and family and has raised over £260 already.
