Twins have celebrated their 30th anniversary.
Residents of Halstead and Haubourdin in northern France have enjoyed a friendship spanning three decades and toasted the milestone with a visit to the Sandringham estate in Norfolk and a four course meal at Queens’ College, Cambridge.
Halstead Twinning Association president Michael Gage presented his French friends with an anniversary plaque crafted by Halstead precision engineering firm, Maycast-Nokes.
The plaque has an identical twin, which will be displayed at Halstead Library, and they were designed by Chris Smee and Vicky Clark.
