Panels like this could soon be in Belchamp St Paul
Developers want to build a solar farm containing 25,000 panels on the outskirts of a village.
London-based Sovereign Energy Partners are planning to build a 15-hectare solar farm off Church Street, Belchamp St Paul.
The firm has sought a pre-application screening opinion from Braintree Council planning officers, with a view to submitting a formal planning application in the future.
