One of the sites set to receive Highways cash
Residents and motorists are set to benefit from thousands of pounds worth of road improvements.
Councillors at a meeting of the Braintree Joint Highways Panel, recommended improvement schemes for Halstead town centre, Earls Colne, Castle Hedingham and Twinstead.
Although the panel has its own budget of £642,228, councillors recommendations still need to be signed off by councillor, Derrick Louis, cabinet member for Highways and Transport at Essex County Council.
