Heroic officers have been praised after they pulled a woman from the wreckage of her car before it burst into flames. The woman was in a silver Ford Focus which was in collision with a black Jeep at the junction of Morleys Road and Halstead Road in Earls Colne on Saturday, July 19. Police community support officers John Thorne and Warren Brown went to the scene of the crash and rescued both drivers involved from their vehicles.
