Halstead: Teens to run in aid of cancer charity

A teenager whose father has brain and spine cancer is running 10km with his friends are running in aid of a cancer charity.
Charlie Barber, 14, of Kemsley Road, Earls Colne, decided to raise money for Macmillan Cancer Support, and will be running from The Castle pub in Earls Colne this Saturday to the coach house at Marks Hall in Coggeshall and back.
His brother Harry, 11, will be chief marshal and Charlie will be joined by Kieran Collins, Oran Parsons, Dominic Horsley, Josh Hopkins, Rebecca Van Zanten, Ellie Smale, Lizzie Waddilove Lottie Adams, Bex Wilson and Rebecca van Zanten.
The run starts at 11am.
