Gardeners celebrated the opening of new village allotments.
A former Gosfield resident offered the parish council a piece of land two years ago, which it bought with grants from Braintree Council, Essex County Council and Edible Essex.
There are currently 16 allotment holders and a children's growing club has been created on one plot, with the support of grants including one of £3,000 from the Essex Community Foundation.
The new allotments mean there is now no-one on the waiting list.
