Darts throwers raised almost £1,500 with a 12 hour marathon for a special needs school.
Bobby Don, 25, of Churchill Avenue, Halstead, organised the event at The Three Pigeons pub in Mount Hill Road on Sunday. **26aug** The money raised will be divided between classes at Edith Borthwick School in Bocking, where Mr Don’s brother Sam went for 15 years.
Speaking about the event Mr Don said: “It went really really well.
“Last year we raised £1,200 and this year we raised just over £1,400.
“The day was just superb and there were lots more people than last year and a few who were there have children going to Edith Borthwick School in September.
“I made some great new friends.”
Mr Don thanked everyone who contributed to the day and plans to continue the tradition every year.
