An equestrian venue believes it has done all it can to ensure it gets the go-ahead to host showjumping competitions.
The owner of Codham Little Park, in Beazley End, wants to host amateur meetings there.
Competitors hope the venue will fill the gap left by the closure of the Towerlands Centre a year ago, but district councillors have voiced concerns about traffic and access to the site.
A previous planning application was rejected by Braintree Council ’s planning committee in June, but the plans have gained significant public support.
A public consultation on the proposals has received 39 supportive responses and two objection comments.
