Halstead: More than 200 drivers caught speeding
More than 200 drivers have been caught speeding in Halstead in the last two months.
Community speedwatch volunteers have been out 17 times since the beginning of July and found 216 vehicles were travelling at 36mph and above in 30mph zones.
The highest speed recorded in Mount Hill was 59mph.
Nine volunteers regularly monitor Colchester Road, Mount Hill, Hedingham Road, Sloe Hill, Sudbury Road and Kings Road.
