A brother is hosting a 12 hour dart marathon to raise money for the school which cared for his younger sibling.
Bobby Don, 25, has organised the event at The Three Pigeons pub in Mount Hill Road, Halstead, to support Edith Borthwick School, in Bocking, which cares for disabled children.
He hosted a similar challenge last year to help buy new outdoor equipment.
His younger brother Sam went to the school for 15 years and Mr Don organises the events as a way of saying thank you.
He said: “I understand how hard it is for the school to fund everything.
“Obviously they can’t do it all themselves and I wanted to give something back to say thanks for everything they have done for Sam.”
The event begins at 11am this Sunday and everyone is welcome to join in.
