A keen swimmer and her dad swam 1.4 miles for charity - and have raised more than £400.
Twelve-year-old Lucy Edwards and dad Trevor, 45, of Dynes Hall Road, Halstead, swam from Bournemouth pier to Boscombe pier for the British Heart Foundation.
The pair hoped to do the swim in an hour and a half but surprised themselves by managing to finish it in just 57 minutes.
Lucy’s mum Julie, 43, and brother Jack, 10, were cheering them on last Sunday.
