The family of a man who died from a brain haemorrhage have celebrated his life with an evening of entertainment to raise money for charity.
Ian Dempster, 52, originally from Yorkshire, died in November last year, leaving behind his wife Sue, 47, of Abels Road, children Carla, Claire and Ben, and his two grandchildren, Kiara and Oliver.
Over £1,000 was raised from the night, which is being donated to mental health charity, MIND.
Entertainment included an Elvis tribute act and music from local band FORTUNE, which Mr Dempster’s daughter Claire Cohen, 24, is in.
Mrs Dempster said the night was “absolutely brilliant”.
She added: “It was so emotional but a fantastic night.”
