A self-employed driver who relies on his handheld computer for his work is calling for the Halstead man who found the device to come forward.
Gavin Smart, 34, from Buckinghamshire, was on the 132 bus in Braintree on Tuesday, but left the personal digital assistant (PDA) on the seat when he got off.
Gavin said: “I deliver cars for a living and the PDA is vital for me.
“My work got a call saying that a man called Tim from Halstead had found it, but they took his number down wrong.
“I desperately need to get in touch with him as I am going to be charged £400 for losing it.”
If you have the PDA, call Gavin on 07588 579379.
