Gosfield School believes it is the first of its kind to make the move.

Parents of reception class children will save £980 a term, as the cost is cut from £2,480 a term to £1,500.

Those with children in Years 1 to 6 will save between £570 and £780 a term, depending on the year group.

It currently costs £3,120 a term for Years 5 and 6, £2,950 for Years 3 and 4, and £2,480 for Years 1 and 2.
