An independent school is cutting its preparatory school fees to make education more affordable.

Gosfield School believes it is the first of its kind to make the move.

Those with children in Years 1 to 6 will save between £570 and £780 a term, depending on the year group.

It currently costs £3,120 a term for Years 5 and 6, £2,950 for Years 3 and 4, and £2,480 for Years 1 and 2.
