The annual Essex Pride 2011 takes place next Sunday, September 4.
More than 8,000 people are expected to attend the event, which celebrates diversity and lesbian, gay bisexual and transgender (LBGT) life in Essex.
Organisations including Essex Police, Essex Drug and Alcohol Partnership, councils and Essex County Fire and Rescue will be taking part, along with a number of local businesses.
There will also be food stalls, fairground attractions and a children’s area, plus acts including Kevin Cruise from Britain’s Got Talent.
Entry to the community area and stage is free. Entry to the over 18s areas and cabaret stage is £5 in advance and £10 on the door.
The event takes at Central Park, Chelmsford.
