The proud dad of X Factor favourite Matt Cardle says singing is in the genes.
Former chorister David Cardle has spoken to the Halstead Gazette for the first time since his son’s success on the hugely popular show.
Mr Cardle first noticed Matt’s talent when he started humming in his pram.
He said: “Matt made an awful lot of noise, but he was always in tune, which was obviously an omen for future things."
