Scouts held a fun day to raise cash for a trip to next year’s World Scout Jamboree.

Matthew Burwood, 14, from Earls Colne, Gregory Carter and Jessica Carter-Mears, both 16 and from Sible Hedingham, and Connie James, 16, from Stambourne, will represent Essex at the gathering in Kristianstad, Sweden, next year.

The Scouts need to raise £8,700 needed to go and raised £1,059 from a family fun day and fete at the cricket ground on Earls Colne Business Park.
