Dog owners are still failing to pick up their pets' mess, despite council warnings.

Sible Hedingham and Great Yeldham are top of the fouling list in the Halstead area, according to Braintree Council dog warden Mark Carlo.

Patrols will be stepped up to try and catch the culprits.

Dog owners who are caught not picking up their pet’s mess face an on-the-spot fine of £50 but can be fined up to £1,000.
