Plans to build houses on an industrial estate have come under the scrutiny of a planning inspector.

Barratt Homes appealed after Braintree Council rejected an application to build 69 homes and some business units on the Central Park industrial estate in Colchester Road, Halstead.

The appeal was heard earlier this month and a decision is expected at a later date.
