Cabinet agrees funds for Halstead community centre

Cabinet members of Braintree Council have agreed for £800,000 to be set aside for a new community facility in Halstead.

Work is going ahead with interested parties and stakeholders to come up with a business case, which will be reported back to the Cabinet.

Charmaine Dean, head of community services at Braintree Council, said a new facility would take a number of years to achieve.
